About us

We put trajectories in your pocket, not unsolicited life advice. Usually.

TRIGR stands for Trajectory Range Impact Geometry Resolver, which sounds like we let an engineer name the company after three espressos. It is accurate, though: we care about where the bullet goes, why it went there, and how obnoxious the wind is being today.

Surfaces

Where TRIGR lives

Rangework stays on the phone you bring to the bay. The website is marketing, account, and billing. That split is intentional.

On the phone

Where the work happens

Native iPhone and iPad. Sign in with Apple. Kit lives on device, including when the bay has no Wi-Fi. Zeroing, Learn, and Setups are free. Pro adds Locker, calculator, DOPE, training, and cloud sync. Elite is Pro plus the ballistics assistant, round count, and extra rifle drills. Compete is in testing with selected shooters: join on any plan, create matches on Elite.

On the web

The boring annex

Marketing, account, billing, and staff tools. No shot timer in Safari. If you came here looking for a range computer in a browser, the App Store is that way.

The short version

One builder. One clear audience. A short list of things we will not fake.

Precision rifle gear on a dusk bench, lit for work rather than a catalog shoot.
01

Who built this

TRIGR is built by Justin St. Germain (Creative Lid). One person, a panda mascot, and a stubborn belief that click math should not live on a napkin.

Ballistics still life with brass, a notebook, and a phone face-down on the bench.
02

Who it is for

People who already shoot, already own an optic with clicks, and are tired of keeping DOPE in three places that disagree. If you want a social network for groups, a coaching marketplace, or a laser that pretends to be physics, this is the wrong panda.

03

How we show up

Competent first. Slightly sarcastic when it helps. Allergic to fake hype. Safety and the numbers get a straight face; the copy gets one joke, not a stand-up set.

Questions go through Contact.

What we are not pretending to be

Three hard boundaries. If you need one of these, buy the real thing instead of hoping an app covers it.

01
Not your range officer

We are not a replacement for range safety officers, coaches, or common sense. If you need a sign to not point firearms at things you like, we cannot help you.

02
Not legal advice

Not legal advice, armor-piercing tax guidance, or a waiver for doing something ill-advised on state land.

03
Not magic physics

Models simplify reality. Confirm impacts on paper or steel before you trust a phone optimism tour.

Tone

Ballistics content is often dusty-academic or bro-marketing. We picked a third lane: competent, slightly sarcastic, allergic to fake hype. If a joke lands badly, blame the copywriter. If the numbers look wrong, check your inputs before you blame the panda, then tell us, because that one is actually on us.

Android is on the roadmap as a real native app. Until then, iPhone is the product. FAQ for download and free vs Pro. Safety before you treat a timer like a personality. FAQ · Safety

Yes, we are serious about safety and data handling. No, we will not use the word “synergy” unironically.
