Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Creative Lid LLC (“TRIGR,” “we,” “us”) for use of the TRIGR apps and related web surfaces. Read them if you enjoy fine print; skim them if you have a life. Either way, using TRIGR means you agree to these Terms and not to be a chaos goblin with firearms or our servers.

Partner / developer API access is governed by separate Partner API Terms. Ordinary consumer use of TRIGR does not require accepting Partner API Terms.

The service

TRIGR is a precision shooting companion. Depending on platform and plan, it may include equipment and setups, zeroing tools, ballistics tools, DOPE, training, Learn content, an optional AI assistant, competition features (including match history and related analytics where enabled), and related web account or admin surfaces.

iOS is publicly available. Android may be offered when published through Google Play; until then, Android is not a public consumer product. Features evolve. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently unchanged.

Eligibility and age

• You must be at least 13 years old to use TRIGR. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use TRIGR only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• You may use firearm-related functionality only where possession, use, and related activity are lawful for you, and under any supervision required by applicable law.
• TRIGR is not designed or marketed as a child-directed service. Junior and youth competitors may still use TRIGR where lawful.
• Sign-in methods depend on platform (Sign in with Apple on iOS and web where enabled; Google sign-in on Android when that client is available). TRIGR does not store your Apple or Google account password.
• Keep your session to yourself. Sharing logins is insecure.

Accounts: sign out, suspension, termination, deletion

These are not interchangeable:

• Sign out ends the current authenticated session on that device or browser. It does not delete your account or cancel a store subscription.
• Suspension means TRIGR restricts access temporarily or administratively (for example for fraud, abuse, or security review).
• Termination means TRIGR ends access for reasons such as fraud, abuse, security threats, intentional disruption, material Terms violations, or unlawful use.
• Account deletion is a user-requested permanent deletion or anonymization process described in the Privacy Policy. After deletion, the account is no longer usable.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the iOS app (Account → Delete account) or request deletion through the contact form when needed. Deletion ends authentication access, terminates active sessions for that account, removes or anonymizes personal and private app data as described in the Privacy Policy, and signs you out.

Account deletion does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel billing in the store’s subscription settings.

Deleting a TRIGR account does not erase an entire shared competition match for other competitors. Historical competition information may remain in a privacy-safe form (for example scores, standings, and provider-sourced results) as described in the Privacy Policy. Acceptable use

• Do not attack TRIGR, attempt unauthorized access, bypass authentication, abuse the service, use it unlawfully, run malicious automation, intentionally disrupt scraping, attack infrastructure, or attempt to bypass security controls.
• Authorized Partner API use under separate Partner API Terms and staff-issued credentials is not prohibited by this section.
• Do not reverse-engineer the apps to circumvent security, safety reminders, or these Terms, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

Ballistics, AI, and safety (read this twice)

TRIGR is software. It is not a range officer, professional firearms instruction, a replacement for manufacturer information, a guarantee of ballistic results, a substitute for independently verified firing solutions, or permission to ignore range procedures or local law.

Ballistic calculations depend on your inputs, ammunition, firearm and optic configuration, environment, measurement accuracy, and model assumptions. You must independently verify critical information.

Where TRIGR provides an AI assistant or similar generated help, that output may be wrong or incomplete. Verify anything that matters before you act on it, especially safety-critical decisions.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid tiers, auto-renewal, refunds, and payment disputes follow the store you used to subscribe (Apple App Store, and Google Play when Play purchases apply). Applicable paid subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through that store. Manage the subscription in the store’s settings.

Any free trial or introductory offer, including its duration, eligibility, price, and renewal terms, will be shown before purchase through the applicable app store. The purchase screen presented by Apple or Google is authoritative for the specific offer shown to you.

TRIGR does not directly issue App Store or Google Play refunds. If you cancel and still get charged, check the store first.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in TRIGR, such as firearms, optics, ammunition, setups, environments, DOPE-related information, training information, notes, and other content you intentionally supply.

You grant TRIGR a limited license to store, host, process, synchronize, transmit, and display that content as necessary to operate TRIGR. We do not claim ownership of your private user-created content.

Competition and shared results

Private user content is different from shared historical competition information and from externally sourced or provider result data.

Competition information may come from a shooter, match staff, scoring systems, match organizations, or external result providers. One shooter does not own or control an entire match dataset involving many competitors.

TRIGR may preserve legitimate historical and shared competition records consistent with the Privacy Policy. TRIGR does not claim ownership of externally supplied provider data merely because TRIGR stores or displays it.

TRIGR intellectual property

TRIGR and its licensors retain rights in the application software, branding, logos, trademarks, original documentation, design, and original TRIGR content. That does not include your user-created content, externally sourced competition or provider data, third-party materials, or open-source software subject to its own licenses.

Third-party services

Parts of TRIGR may rely on external services such as Apple, Google, weather or data providers, competition or scoring systems, and infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms. Privacy details are in the Privacy Policy, not duplicated here.

Limitation of liability

TRIGR is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed shots, unsafe handling, or damages that come from treating a phone as a range officer. Your use is at your own risk. These Terms do not set a fixed dollar liability cap.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the dispute elsewhere. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, security threats, intentional service disruption, material Terms violations, or unlawful use. You may stop using TRIGR any time. Account deletion is a separate process under the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material updates are posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TRIGR after properly posted material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process. We do not currently require a separate in-app reacceptance screen for consumer Terms.
